My house...
...in the middle of my street...lalalalalaaaa. Remember that song? Anyway, what's happening at my house? I'll do this instead of catching up on the lives of all my friends. They'll understand. I hope.
Today I have to pick up Coli early to go to Rebecca's school to dress her in her Communion outfit for May Crowning. Not sure what that is but...some Catholic School thing. Then we go to a class Communion party that us mom's assembled because it's not a parish school & all the kids received 1st Communion at their own parishes. Then we get home around 7:30 to shower, do homework & go to bed. This morning, I got Rebecca up early so I could fix her hair a bit. After getting Rebecca to school, and Coli was ready, I dragged her to the grocery store because I needed a few extra things to make Strawberry Rhubarb Coffeecakes to take to NH tomorrow. Then I dropped her off at school & bolted to Kohl's to find a top to go with my cute polka dotted pants. Tough job since most stuff was pastel & the dots are bright & bold lime, turquoise, yellow, pink & purple. I found a tank that is turquoise w/lime lining & a big shirt/jacket style top in lime to go over it. I feel cute. Nice change of pace. Newish sandals that are comfy, fit reasonably& stay on. SO WHAT if my piggies aren't manicured.
Tomorrow, I need to pack to go to my sister's for Memorial Weekend for our annual Ribs'n'Ritas pigout. What fun - I can't wait!! Unfortunately, it's at my sister's in NH (7 hours away) because SIL was just busted for drunk driving & doesn't want us at her house(1 hour away). Oh well, what's a few extra hours for a weekend of debauchery?
BACK UP.... I went to my sister's in NH just last weekend for my niece's bridal shower. Fortunately, I do like to drive.
Gotta run. More later. This is why I don't blog - I can't sit for very long!!! The coffecakes are done, I have Rebecca's Communion clothes, Coli's lunch, I am dressed WITH makeup on. See ya!!!!
