Karma
heeheeheeheeheeheeheeeeeeeee. If my hubby reads this, oh well. Karma is a funny thing. You hear about it a lot but how many have ever been in a situation where they realize that karma is slapping them in the face (good or bad)? Me!! Me!! Should I start with the evil or excellent? I'm in a very good mood right now but I'm gonna start with the evil just to get it typed out. I'm in the car with dh & mom. we'd been to a ballet fundraiser & dh commented that i managed to introduce mom to one of the leading ballet men in the company. He plays Drosselmeier in The Nutcracker & is every little girl's wanna be leading man. I said so in my introductions & he laughed. *I* see him as a very warm, loving, kind, gentle man who loves to dance & work with the kids. I do know he has an alter ego who exists in the corporate world only because dh met him at an IT conference. Small friggen world. Anyway.....Dh comments that he can't stand the guy. I am shocked - wtf??? Why the hell not??? As it turns out....evil laugh....OMG I am such a bitch....this woman who worked for dh used to date said ballet dancer. Apparently, they dated for several years (actually, he said 7) as he promised her all sorts of stuff as soon as he was divorced. He finally got divorced & ditched hubby's co-worker. I think I actually laughed out loud which in retrospect was rather umm....rude to say the least but aha - inappropriate is a better word. I'm fairly certain that this woman & dh had (are still having??) an affair. Hey, maybe they are just really good friends. I still have my suspicions. So, I got the lowdown on how much she cried & carried on after being ditched & how she couldn't get past it because she saw him in the city as they worked near each other, blablabla. I said she should go elsewhere to cry NOT on company time. Sheesh. Then I made the evil wisecrack of the evening & am surprised dh is still speaking to me: "Maybe you should take her back to Le Bernardin." Owwwww. (dh had taken his female employee there to the tune of $400+ which I think is totally fucking inappropriate) He replied, "Stop going on about that." Or something similar that shut me up just cuz Mom was in the car & I wasn't in the mood for a brawl after such a nice evening. Plus I was still chuckling over probable girlfriend's boyfriend misadventures. I mean, I don't wish the woman harm. She's a single mother & quite nice. I just don't friggen care probably becuase dh cares enough for us both. The thought of employee woman & ballet dancer in a relationship that went kapooot makes me giggle. I mean really....she listened to promises for how many years??? (7) and then was soo surprised when he didn't follow through??? And cried like a schoolgirl??? GIMME A FUCKING BREAK. So take my man. What the hell. Somebody must have a man you can have to take care of your kids. xcept mine will always have his own to support too, honey. And don't forget it. Diatribe over. On to the GOOD KARMA.

You're E-V-I-L
but I don't blame you
And taking someone out for $400 for a corporate dinner?
That's just S-T-U-P-I-D and pretty brazen too.
